Workshop Options

We offer two plain language training options, delivered face to face or online to suit your needs:

Introduction to plain language – 2 hours

A focused introduction to the core ideas of plain language. This session covers the basics of what plain language is, why it matters, and how to start using it in your work. Ideal for teams new to plain language or looking to refresh their skills.

Plain language in practice (applying plain langauge) – 3.5 hours

A hybrid workshop that introduces participants to plain language and gives them the opportunity to put their skills to practice. Plain language in practice is a more in-depth workshop designed to help participants apply plain language techniques to real-world communication. This session includes:

• Interactive and hands-on activities

• Customised content relevant to your team or sector

• Opportunities to bring your own documents or examples for feedback and discussion
