Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. She has worked in a range of fields, including medical and psychological research, health policy, and healthcare commissioning. Currently, she is completing a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery and a Master of Public health, with a focus on the role of the health sector in preventing and responding to violence against women. Natalie is passionate about working with health and community services organisations to empower staff with the skills to improve their communication with patients and clients, and ultimately improve the health of their communities.  Natalie volunteers on an International Plain Language Federation committee focussed on training and guidelines for the upcoming ISO Plain Language Standard.
