Tia Farrell

Health Promotion, Prevention and Engagement Officer

Tia has over 15 years of experience working in health and human rights among diverse communities. Tia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics/French/Anthropology from New York University, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health from the University of Washington.

Originally from the United States, Tia has worked across diverse geographical areas including the US, Mongolia, India, New Zealand and Australia, as well as with diverse communities including youth, women & gender diverse people, sex workers, LGBTIQA+, and multicultural communities.

Tia is passionate about gender equality, diversity and social inclusion and loves working with communities to champion health and rights in response to their needs.

Tia spends her spare time reading novels, watching TV and being a partner and mum.
